Thank you for visiting my website. I wanted to talk directly to the challenges and concerns that we as Democrats face after this recent election. Here is an excerpt from my video announcing my candidacy as Chair of the North Carolina Democratic Party.
Democratic principles are North Carolina principles; we’ve known it all along, but every so often we get shaken up a bit, and reminded how we got here and why we fought so hard for the things we did. But we’ve had all the shaking this State can take. It is time to fight back.
North Carolina needs to see more fight out of the Democratic Party. When Republicans in the legislature and in their Party offices try to knock down this Governor, this President or this Party, I will match them blow for blow and then some. Together, we’ll fight them in every precinct, every county and district– dollar for dollar, on the air and on the ground– voter by voter –through a renewed grassroots effort that begins right now.
